To beat a polar bear in a fight without weapons is a difficult task.

If you are confronted with a brown bear and you do not have a rifle, we recommend that you definitely do not go back, go to the bear and wave your arms and make as much noise as possible. The bear is a coward. It escapes from the scene.

But the polar bear is no coward. Or maybe it is stupid, but the only way to frighten a polar bear is to fire a rifle.
